Hey guys! It’s Thanksgiving as we make this podcast so giving thanks is the best topic for today.
Giving thanks is the overlooked secret weapon for business owners. As entrepreneurs, we are wired to look at the gap between where we are and where we feel we should be.

That’s a good thing, but sometimes it can create a never ending desire to be somewhere else.
I thought once I hit $1M “I would be rich”- I wasn’t. I thought once I was “rich” everything would be great. I also thought once I was “rich” I would take it easy and things wouldn’t seem to be such a big deal. Turns out I was wrong. Once you hit $1M, you want two. Two you want four- forever if we don’t give thanks. When we forget to give thanks to how far we have come, it seems that it is never enough.

This is something that I learned the hard way but I want you to learn the easy way.
So how do I give thanks? Here is my list for every week.

Every week we do a celebration with our clients to show them how grateful we are for their support and their growth.

I want to thank YOU as a community not only for your support, but for your commitment to GROW. It is an HONOR for the GMCC team and I to serve YOU because of what AMAZING people you are.

By giving thanks I get to create an amazing community with the BEST team members. I want to give thanks for my amazing wife Nathalie and son Christian.

Do you feel like you have nothing to give thanks for? Well, I have a secret for you. You don’t have to LIKE the circumstance to give thanks.

For example, if you don’t have a healthy body give thanks that you are still alive!

Are you not happy with your financial circumstances? Well, almost TWO BILLION people, or 26.2 percent of the world’s population, were living on less than $3.20 per day in 2015. Close to 46 percent were living on less than $5.50 a day. So just by being born when you were, you are richer than almost everyone ever to walk the earth- travel, air conditioning, communication, food, basic health…

If you believe what I believe, we have a Creator GOD who loves us and wants us to be with him in heaven forever.

As a matter of fact, giving thanks is a Biblical principle. Philippians 4 says:
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”

I want to encourage YOU to give thanks even if you don’t hear this on Thanksgiving.
