Katheine and Daniel felt like they didn’t have a big enough clientele to justify hiring outside help. A lot of times we will tell ourselves lies that cause burnout. One of them is that “you can’t afford to delegate tasks”or “you don’t have enough clients”. Once we pull the truth out we realize that that isn’t true. They live in a small town but they lived next to bigger cities where they could grow their clientele. One way they could do this is by hiring outside help. By doing this, not only would their business grow, but they wouldn’t have to clean more. What it really comes down to at the end of the day is mindset.
Being an entrepreneur or a worker bee are great options. However, the entrepreneurs are more willing to step out of their comfort zone to succeed. What the choice comes down to is deciding where your priorities lie and what you are willing to do to reach your goals. Either decision is a good decision because every person is different. Being an entrepreneur comes with more risk but more reward and being an employee comes with a bigger feeling of security. At the end of the day you need to make the right decision for YOU.
Katherine and Daniel came up with a great goal and that is a huge part of growing a business. You need to find out what number you are wanting and what number you are NOT willing to go under. After you set that goal you can come up with a plan to get you there. This allows you to track your progress and keep your focus. You alone are in control of your focus. No outside force can keep you from your long term focus and goals except for yourself.
“Go with Often Wrong, Never in Doubt”. Make a plan and decision today. When things happen in your life the decision will keep you going and focused. The decision will help you keep the lies out of your head and get back to a good and positive mindset.
