Episode 267 – Establishing Your Online Presence: Episode 267: Mike Campion LIVE

Today we’re chatting with Leie Hamilton with a JanPro franchise!

Now, Leie has leads served up to her on a silver platter that works as a benefit for purchasing a JanPro franchise. Even so, she has found her online growth to be seriously lacking and wants to grow her online presence.

Growing hers, or your, online presence isn’t that different from the advice I would give in general to every cleaning company out there. It all starts out with discovering your core values. What do you really stand for?

Just because you’re a franchise owner doesn’t mean you can’t have your own set of core values, in fact you absolutely should!. Take the time to do a deep dive and get those straight. As you discover them, you may come across something that will work as a Unique Selling Proposition (USP) that can set you apart from your competition and sell your potential leads on working with you.

An important part of your USP should be that it speaks to your specific niche. Your online presence shouldn’t just be “I am a cleaning company, give me money”. It should be “I am a cleaning company that saves warehouses more money by using our services”.

Think about your niche, ask yourself what their problem is and how you can position yourself as the perfect consultant to solve their problems. Once you have the market you want to focus on and have done good research into that niche, only then is it time to choose a media you are going to use to reach that niche. To be clear, the internet is just ONE media among many here, so what I said above can be used in offline marketing just as much as online marketing.

To start off with, your marketing should use a lead magnet. This is somethings that piques their curioisity and gets them to give you their email. Once they have raised their hands and opted in, then you have a follow-up system that is automated to nurture those leads into real sales.

I talk about that automation system a lot in my Clean Profit Method course, but basically it needs to be an email follow up that continously adds value to your target market. This marketing funnel is essentially teaching the target market how to buy from you at the end of the day.
