First thing to do is of course, know your goals, so you can have a better idea with what you want to do with your business and how you are gonna do it. Next thing is, after you singled out each goal, find a customer that will best serve your goals. You have to be specific with choosing your clients, consider every factor before diving in on a commitment where it could be a disaster and you realized that you never wanted it to happen in the first place, so it must align with your goals. And then when you find one, ask questions until you can describe their pain better than they can, so you can relate to them, thus earning their trust and start working with you.
