Episode 277 – Building Your Cleaning Business While Working Full Time

Today we are talking with Vanessa Saint-Hilaire from Healthy Home Cleaning Services!

Vanessa is having a problem that I am sure many of you are struggling with as well, how do I work full time and build my cleaning company?

The answer is to find your niche.

When you find a specific niche to target, you cut down on the amount of time that it is going to take to market your cleaning company to prospective clients.

Here is why niching down helps you grow a cleaning company from scratch.

The way we sell any services to clients is through finding their pain point and alleviating it. Niches cleaning companies can target are dental offices, gyms, car dealerships, lawyers office, etc. Each of these offices have a much different pain point than the other.

Let’s say you choose to target car dealerships.

The first question you want to ask yourself is, what is a car dealership’s paint points?

RESOURCE ALERT: Use the Clean Profit Method Perfect Prospect Survey to figure out your customer’s pain points!

A car dealership wants somebody to help relieve their pain points of finding more referrals and keeping prospective buyers inside their office for longer.

Using this information, you’re going to market to car dealerships by saying:

“I have a cleaning company and here is how our cleaning service will help you get referrals and keep people in your office longer.”

What I see far too often is people getting caught up in finding their perfect niche. Look at different businesses that are in a twenty mile radius from you and choose your niche based off of these specifics:

Find a niche that has lots of pain.

Make sure that niche has money to pay you.

Ensure that there is a high number of businesses like that near you.

RESOURCE ALERT: How To Appeal To Your Cleaning Niche

Being an expert on one niche’s cleaning needs means that you aren’t wasting time changing your marketing strategy to include every type of company. This cuts down on the amount of time that it takes you to create your marketing strategy and tells you exactly where to market your company.

Find your niche and then create a customized solution for their pains.
