Episode 750 –Admin Tools for Cleaning Business Owners in 2022

Hello Cleaning Nation! Today we have a real treat on the podcast for you. Lindsay Bjorklund is our client happiness manager but also our operations manager. She now manages a team of people who keep our company running smoothly. One question she gets a lot is about the tools she uses to run our company effectively. Listen in today as she goes through the top tools she personally uses, why she recommends them, and how they will be useful to you and your team. This is the perfect podcast to help you kick off your year more organized than ever before!

Slack

Lindsay’s favorite tool for team communication is Slack. Slack is basically the AOL messenger for our day. You can add your whole team in there as well as create different channels for different groups of people, maybe one for your clients, one for your cleaners, one for admin., etc. It’s a great way to keep the lines of communication open and have everyone in one place. And Slack keeps adding more new features that make it even more effective.

Zoom

The next tool she recommends is Zoom. Zoom is such a functional tool for a business. You can use it to record a podcast, to do training, to connect with someone who you may not be able to get to in person. You can even Zoom with clients or potential clients to make it more convenient for both of you.

Text Magic

Text Magic is a great, affordable app that you can use to communicate with your clients. One great feature is that you can use it on your desktop as well as on your phone so you can toggle between that while getting work done. It’s a great, personal way to keep in contact with your clients in a way that’s more organized than traditional texting.

Pipeline Pro

If you want to get really fancy, you can use a new tool out there that combines a lot of the tools i talked about today. It has a one-time fee as of 2022 of $38 dollars a month and then it’s about $97 a month after that, but it has email capabilities, voicemail like Slack, and texting like Text Magic plus a calendar functionality so it’s a great, all in one tool that is worth considering. Each tool Lindsay mentioned has its own merit, but it’s always great when you can combine so you don’t have to worry about all the logins and apps to toggle between.

Final Takeaway: Take advantage of all the amazing tools out there to make this the most organized, successful year ever!
