Today Mike is having a special case study episode with Mironda Deel, Owner of Videmi Service! Mironda lives in Curacao, Bahamas and is a part of the Clean profit method! She currently has 23 cleaners, and recently switched over to cleaning businesses only!

Before we connected, what were some of the struggles that you were going through?

Before we first spoke I was trying to serve too many markets at one time, and I didn’t have a system for hiring or generating new prospects, which I now have in place!

You must have still had a system, it just didn’t generate the results that you wanted. Do you remember how you were handling those things?

Before we met I was just hiring when I needed to, and I was always getting frustrated at all the resumes that came in last moment. Now we have a system that starts with a monthly group interview, and then we have a one on one interview, etc. And we have a marketing system for consistently having applicants. I no longer have to rush to hire people, and now just have people waiting in line.

I can’t wait for cleaning nation to hear your core values, do you mind sharing them?

Our Core Values are: Make money, Have fun, Be Real, and Do as Promised.

Mike: See I love that, right off the top of her head without having to look at notes or anything. Being able to articulate who you are and what is important to your company in five to ten words when it comes to customers or employees or vendors or really anyone in your community to see if you’re a fit is huge. I don’t care how good of a cleaner or customer that they may be, if they’re not a good fit, chances are you will make each other’s lives miserable.

Was there a rock bottom or some sort of event that made you start searching for help?

It was when I lost my biggest client at the beginning of the year, and I had employees that were going to be left without a job. I realized that I should be doing better and things are not how they were supposed to be. That client was about 40% of our business, and when we lost that account it really woke me up.

Was there any sort of search and discovery? Once you realized you needed help how did you go about trying to fix it?

At first I tried to fix it just by reading books, and also started to get coaching, but I quickly realized that I needed something more in my industry, and It felt like you were really talking to me. I didn’t try any other programs, but I didn’t really feel like anything else was calling me. I also want to say that you have a part of your program dedicated to mindset, and I really appreciate that.

Mike: You know you could have all the best systems in the world, and without the perseverance to actually pull the trigger and implement those systems they are useless. If your mindset isn’t good, there isn’t any ‘magic beans’ that will make your business grow.
