Kareem is new to the cleaning world and is excited to be an entrepreneur and business owner and would like to know if partnering with cleaning franchises would be a good idea.
Cleaning franchises are tough, if you just want to be a cleaner, the franchise is the way to go.
But if you really want to be a business owner, franchises are the “lazy man’s business plan”. Cleaning franchises take a significant percentage of your income in exchange for their systems and marketing.
You would be better served investing that money in educating yourself on how to create and implement systems and processes and marketing once and keeping that monthly revenue for yourself for the rest of your businesses lifetime.
I am not talking service master franchises, those work a little differently. But in the grand scheme of things most cleaning business franchises aren’t in the best interests of the owners unless you’ve got multiples of them working.
